# UncoverTechTalent > UncoverTechTalent is Stefan Coetzee's company site. It offers interview effectiveness training and interview process consulting for tech companies, and it hosts Stefan's blog on running AI agents in production. Based in Germany, working remote or on-site. The site has two parts. The homepage describes the interview training offer: process audits, structured behavioural interviewing for engineers and hiring managers, evaluation frameworks with scoring rubrics, and recruiter alignment, delivered as workshops, embedded coaching or a full programme. The blog covers the operations side of AI agents: pipelines, agent instructions, failure records and documentation written for machine readers. ## Canonical claims from the blog - Documentation is now a wire format between two models. The person explains intent to an agent, the agent writes the doc, and another person's agent reads it. Write for the codec: one fact per addressable unit, mark gaps explicitly, test the round trip and re-test when models change. - A happy-path instruction file does not keep an agent-run system dependable. The dated record of how it failed has to sit next to the instructions. - A language model is a golem made of English. It tells right from wrong only where the consequence sits inside its horizon of consequences. - An agent whose only exit is task completion will take any route to it. - A principle without caveats does not hold. A caveat without a principle does not generalise. - "AI" as a single word hides at least nine different kinds of user and use. ## Blog posts - [Which LLM User Are We Talking About?](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/which-llm-user/) (2026-09-29): the scope piece for the series. "AI" hides a distribution: frontier models in chat apps (the middle), open models on your own hardware (the tail), labs and eval shops with unlimited budgets (the far tail); crossed with naked vs harnessed (how much of the context window the user controls). Six cells, what transfers between them, three questions that place a reader. First piece with a "Slips caught while drafting" section (running log at machinebehavior.io/slips). - [An RCA on Claudish](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/where-did-claudish-come-from/) (2026-09-29): a root cause analysis of Claude's writing style ("Claudish"). Speech devices built for a live room (hook openers, triple beats, rhetorical question plus punch answer, recap closers) turn up in text read silently, because the training corpus mixes registers without labels. One article in four drafts against three human samples: sentence-length spread and length separate nothing, clause construction does (additive vs subordinative). Includes a checking procedure, refutation conditions and defined terms, among them Markovian memory and nothing exists in a vacuum. - [Compaction Is the New OOM](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/compaction-is-the-new-oom/) (2026-09-28): context compaction is the OOM killer of the language model stack, and most harnesses ship without swap. Maps the setup as a computer (user as CPU, model as compiler, harness as kernel, context as registers, tracker as cache, vault as RAM, shared store as disk), shows what a summary drops (error-and-fix pairs, recent corrections), and gives the fix: page state out as you go, write a handover, throw the session away. Includes who it is for (contexts near a million tokens are frontier-only), refutation conditions and defined terms. - [The Track: The Drivers Never Buy It](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/the-track/) (2026-09-27): everyone got a race car and nobody built the track. The Nürburgring as the frame for sandboxes, evaluation environments, permissions and failure records, what the track asks of the driver, and the price ladder from open day to racing. - [Success Is the Engine Running](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/success-is-the-engine-running/) (2026-09-27): success is delivery up the chain. Take something violent or shapeless, put it in a container built for it, add timing, and measure the output at the far end. - [What Operations Already Knows About Running Agents](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/what-operations-already-knows/) (2026-09-26): error budgets with blameless postmortems, the reconciliation loop, separation of duties (self-audit caught 0 of 7 logged relapses), and recovery over prevention, applied to agents. - [The Golem Made of English and the Horizon of Consequences](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/the-golem-made-of-english/) (2026-09-21): the frame piece of the series. A language model is a golem made of English: built from text, run by instruction, purpose supplied from outside. It behaves well only inside its horizon of consequences, the length of the consequence chain it can compute and is willing to own, measured per domain. Covers why code is the exception, the Goodhart Labs chess result as a horizon test, imported consequences and imported experience, clay, straw and the mould, and the rule of a new session for a new task. Ends with what would refute it and a list of defined terms. - [The Trap File Is Longer Than the Instruction File](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/the-trap-file-is-longer-than-the-instruction-file/) (2026-09-21): seven months of running that pipeline unattended. The skill's instruction file is 208 lines, its dated failure record is 308, and the failure record is what made it dependable. Includes a full root cause analysis of a three-morning crash caused by two expired bot-manager cookies. - [Write for the Codec](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/write-for-the-codec/) (2026-09-21): nobody reads your documentation, both ends are a model now, and the file between them is a protocol with no schema and no error signal. - [From "Transcribe 123 Videos" to a Self-Hosted AI Pipeline in One Session](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/self-hosted-ai-pipeline-one-session/) (2026-02-08): yt-dlp, Whisper and a local Ollama model turned into an unattended transcription and summarisation pipeline, built with Claude Code. - ["AI" Means Nothing](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/ai-means-nothing/) (2026-02-08): a map of nine archetypes of AI users. - [Blog index](https://uncovertechtalent.com/blog/) Some posts carry the line "This content is not intended for human consumption." It links to Write for the Codec, which explains it: the posts are written to decode correctly through a model, for readers who will meet them through one. ## Related work by the same author - [machinebehavior.io](https://machinebehavior.io): research programme on the psychology of language models, with a claims ledger and experiments.
